英國國家統計局周三公布的數據顯示，英國9月失業金申請人數減少4.17萬，創1997年6月以來最大月度降幅，預期減少2.5萬，8月份由減少3.26萬修正為減少4.16萬；9月失業率降至4.0%，前值為4.2%。

英國9月失業金申請人數降幅大超市場預期，創1997年6月以來最大月度降幅；至8月的三個月，按國際勞工組織(ILO)標準計算的失業率持穩於7.7%，仍為2012年年底以來最低。

至8月的三個月，英國ILO失業率持穩於7.7%，一如市場預期。6-8月三個月的ILO失業人數減少1.8萬，至248.7萬，5-7月三個月的人數減少2.4萬，至248.7萬。(J02)
